KHITRUK SCHOOL IN TARUSA 2024

 

 

TARUSA WILL HOST A LARGE-SCALE EDUCATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROJECT DEDICATED TO THE PATRONYMIC ANIMATION SCHOOL

Within the framework of the Khitruk School project, an educational program for young animation teachers from different regions of Russia will be organized from September 26 to October 6, and screenings, creative meetings and master classes will be held for residents and guests of Tarusa. The project is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.

Stop-motion Residence of Tarusa 2021

The Academy of Animation Art named after F.S. Khitruk announces the recruitment of animators to participate in the first educational project – a residence in the stop-motion technique in Tarusa.

Within the framework of the project, the Academy recruits a team of students from specialized universities and schools, as well as young professionals (18-35 years old), who, under the guidance of experienced curators, make a finished animated film on a common theme invented by the curators, passing all the stages of work from the idea of the cartoon to its production.

«The Nose» won the Grand Prix at the Suzdal

The full-length film “The Nose or the Conspiracy of Mavericks” by Andrey Khrzhanovsky, a People’s Artist of the Russian Federation and laureate of various state awards, received the Grand Prix of the the Open Russian Festival of Animated Films in Suzdal. The results were summed up on Sunday.

Cinema Foundation Council approved the list of films for funding

On December 1st, the Council of the Cinema Foundation approved the list of films that will receive funding based on the results of the pitch that was held on November 10th. On that day there was organized a public presentation of projects of national author animation films by leading Russian animation directors, and feature films for children and family. In total, 15 works were presented – 3 author films of domestic direction, 5 animated films and 7 full-length feature films.
