The Animation Art Academy was created to unite scriptwriters, directors, artists, producers, and members of other creative professions for the purposes of preserving, developing, and promoting auteur animation as an art form.
The Academy bears the name of Fyodor Savelyevich Khitruk – an outstanding director, our Teacher, creator of a unique system of training young animators; a system that, to this very day, helps preserve the continuity of generations, as well as the traditions of the classical Russian school of animation.
