The Khitruk School is aimed at popularizing, teaching and developing the art of animation and, first of all, at preserving in animation the national tradition of the classical school – the F.S. Khitruk School.
The Khitruk School in Tarusa is the 2nd part of the project. The first part was held in Yekaterinburg in Urgakha this summer. Three films created by students of URGAKHU under the guidance of Master Lisa Skvortsova as part of the intensive course were included in the Competitive Program of the Big Cartoon Festival, which will be held in October.
Khitruk Academy is not the first time in Tarusa. In the summer of 2021. In the Mosaic Workshop in the House of Writers, students of animation faculties under the direction of director Yura Boguslavsky shot the world’s first mosaic film “The Sky has no Edge”, which traveled through many international festivals.
After Tarusa, the Khitruk School will return to Moscow – there are teleconferences across the country and the Khitruk School for Schoolchildren ahead.
